Full Spectrum CBD vs Isolate CBD

What is the difference between Full Spectrum CBD and Isolate CBD? And which is best?

Cannabidiol (CBD) has many benefits and is fast becoming the ‘go-to’ supplement for the health conscious person. One of the questions we are often asked is what is the difference between full spectrum CBD and isolate CBD? And which is best?

Let’s start with Isolate - this is where CBD oil is ‘isolated’ from the hemp plant, meaning all other cannabinoids are removed. It was previously believed that this was more potent and concentrated. However this has been disproved by a study undertaken by the Lautenberg Centre of General Tumour Immunology.

Everything in nature works synergistically producing powerful combinations that work better together. The cannabis hemp plant is a perfect example of this, it contains not just CBD but a full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavanoids, which together have cumulative benefits. Which leads me on to Full Spectrum…

Full Spectrum CBD oil retains the natural goodness of the whole plant including CBD, terpenes, vitamins, minerals and cannabinoids such as CBDA, CBG, CBGA, CBC, CBCA. Not only do each of these components provide their own benefits, but they also work together to give a greater ‘entourage effect’.

You could then ask the question, why do so many companies sell isolate CBD Oil dropper? The reason is simple, it is cheaper to produce. You may choose to go down this road but you won’t get the full benefits this incredible plant has to offer.

That’s why it’s important when looking for a high quality CBD Oil dropper to check that it is Full Spectrum.

Using a gentle Supercritical C02 Extraction process enables all aspects of the raw cannabis plant to remain intact. It’s a costly exercise with the machinery costing hundreds of thousands of pounds, but it’s worth it. Extracting it this way produces a CBD oil that is of a high quality with a broad profile of cannabinoids.

However there are exceptions…

If you prefer to vape CBD then purity of isolate is the best option. Look for a vape e-liquid with a CBD crystal of 99.5%+ purity. This is perfect for inhalation and getting a quick release of CBD, try our VITO CBD Vape 300mg

So it really depends on how you prefer to take CBD, if your preference is using an oil dropper or capsule then opt for full spectrum, but if using a vape then isolate is the most appropriate form of delivery.
